We have a new kitten that only wants to do his business on a towel. Our vet has recommended using strips of paper and clay litter but still he does not learn. He wants to eat the clay litter and play with the paper. We tried putting some feces in the box with paper to try and give him the hint but he still wants to use the towel. Our vet says not to use clumping litter as he will get it stuck in his paws and ingest it. Any ideas that you have used would be helpful.
